The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a colorful mix of heroes, and a thrilling plot including angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The latest chapter ended with a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of heroes who will split off from the central cast to begin their own adventure, apart from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

With 13 cast members, it was clear from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group understands precisely where to proceed after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the story’s plot—exploited the foes for his selfish purposes, entering the hidden lair, striking Thimble, and stealing all the powerful objects to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his obligations and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each character has a individual motive to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their status as important members in the powerful family could enable the party reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The fighter pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now follow him anywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The cleric defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them few options but to travel to the northern region in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the combat party won’t be around next week, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Questers and Planners tables.

Fans can expect discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, streaming live on October 24.
